We were sitting out on our deck Sunday having a glass of wine or a beer when a mosquito showed up, landed on the inside of a serving bowl. This was taken with a Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 on a D700 body.

I’ve always wanted to take a half-way decent picture of this old ruin that’s been hanging out in the water at the mouth of Turnagain Arm (near Portage Glacier) since it was destroyed by the 1964 Great Alaska Earthquake.
Chicken Wings
